  I started with Tektronix Federal Credit Union in around 1980 or so. I stayed with them through a number of variations of "First Technology" credit union. I have always thought they were the best. But since they merged with Addison it has been complete disaster. This is now a California institution with all of the inhuman distancing that any California institution puts between itself and its customers. You can't even get the phone number for your local branch from these "people". Are they even people? Or is the whole institution just one big computer AI program? I know that real people do work there - I've talked to them right at this RB branch in San Diego. But the overall management of the credit union is totally failed. I'm looking for an alternative...

  If you ever call hoping to talk to someone and then they put you on the phone with someone who does not know anything about it, then this is that bank. I called several times to set up an automatic payment, I sent several forms and I could not have them set up the automatic payment with them. Their "Contact Center Operations" is a joke, even if you are calling to pay they give you hassle, you can't pay with debit....I have never heard of a bank that makes so many ridiculous regulations to pay a bill. Their customer service is bad, non professional. I'm tired of calling and emailing them, no solutions just excuses and problems. I do not recommend this bank at all.
