    This has become our favorite bar in La Jolla! One of the biggest bummers about my boyfriend moving to this area was that most of the bars around closed early and weren't exactly our style. We prefer North Park ambiance, low key and good beer/cocktail selection. But this place is so wonderful, I think I like it better than our North Park bars! I love the fireplace, the red brick alleyway that reminds me of a Harry Potter film, the different designs of the rooms so that you can spend time in whatever environment you're in the mood for. Their drinks are affordable and delicious. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I was almost afraid to leave a review because I didn't want it to get busier. But I have to give them a round of applause and let others know that this spot is THE La Jolla bar to visit.

    Service is always great, drinks are good. Would give it a four if the food selection was inspired. It isn't. It stands for some improvement and new selection. Match the area, stiff competition in La Jolla. Have food match the service your staff provides. Nice space, live music.
