  If I could select no stars and still write a review I would. I have a 6 year new company and we have been using Kerr's office to administer a defined benefit plan. Not being very familiar with all the ins and outs of these plans, I've had questions over the last 3 years. James will not go out of his way to communicate. This has always made me feel like he doesn't care. Every time I ask very specific question via email he responds with vague one sentence answer. This has frustrated me many times. Recently he made an error on reporting my annual W2 to the actuary and we ended up filing incorrect data to the IRS. When he found out he made the mistake he didn't apologize, or take any responsibility. Never called me. Just said he was in the Caribbean on extended holiday and would figure it out after he returned. Over a month went by and I had not heard from James, so I sent an email to his office. He responded with his one liner and said he was planning to send it out that week....glad I sent the email to remind him. Once the amended documents were complete he had his office manager send me another one sentence email saying here is your copy of the amended return, no need to file again with the IRS, "per Jim." No, explanation, no apology for the error or delay, no reason why we didn't need to file the amended return. Just a, "here you go, save it for your records." Having little to no confidence in his office at this point, I called his office manager and asked what the reason was for not needing to file. she simply didn't know and she would let Jim know I had questions. Extremely poor communication.
  
  Bottom line: If you want to pay $1250 a year for a computer generated report and a couple one liner email's from a guy who simply doesn't care, then Jim is your man!
