  I'm going to buck the trend here and talk about my positive experience with R+L Carriers. I had a mini-split air conditioning system shipped to me from Miami recently. R+L called me to arrange delivery, which was inconvenient since I can't hang around my house for 4 hours during the business day since I work for a living. I was given the option to sign a release so I wouldn't have to be home for delivery, but instead they allowed me to swing by during my lunch to pick up my AC system. They took all the separate boxes off the pallet for me to easily load into my small vehicle, which I drove back onto their loading dock so it was a short trip to carry the items. I didn't need help loading but I was offered. Also, no obvious shipping damage was noticed.
