  I first contacted Chris about replacing our old fence in the summer of 2008, at that time it was more of an exploratory exercise to see who,what was out there. I immediately felt a connection with Chris and although we were not ready to put the fence up, I stayed in touch with him. In December 2009 during the bad rain storms the back side of the fence fell down, again we contacted Chris for an estimate. Finally, this past December our new fence was built. Chris was so patient with my husband and I; responding to our questions in a timely fashion and finally he and his crew put it all together, even clearing some brush and getting rid of it for us AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!!! After the installation of the fence Chris was still there for us, someone in our neighborhood thought it would be a good idea to 'tag' our fence, Chris again stepped up by replacing several of the boards destroyed by this vandal, again without charging us. Each morning when I let our beloved dog out into the back yard, I know that she will be safely enclosed in our yard. The fence from the street is simply beautiful!!! We are all very happy with the great job and the continued support we have received from Chris and Smith Fence Company!!!
